PONTIAC FIREBIRD HUNTS DOWN BOREDOM WITH THE BIRD OF PREY SPEEDSTER AND COUPE

DETROIT - The Firebird Trans Am has represented the forefront of Pontiac performance for more than three decades and modifiers have been using it as an open canvass to create some wild expressions over the years.

DJ&F International has built incredible machines for past SEMA events and this year they come to the party with not one but two Trans Am concepts in the Bird of Prey coupe and speedster. They teamed with Foam Molders, a leading design studio and molding company, and Spreewell Racing, to produce these excitement-inducing conversions.

A Foam Molders aerodynamic body kit and Hella Lighting driving lamps make up the exteriors of both cars. The Bird of Prey speedster also features a solid tonneau cover with an all-new spoiler, headrest fairings and individual stainless steel roll bars.

Each Trans Am has MBA Products' billet pedal kit and gear shift knob plus GM's OnStar satellite assistance system. The speedster further receives color-coordinated Katskin leather seats and door panels and a Relaxor in-seat massage/heat system.

Enhancements to the LS1 engines include a high-flow Granatelli MAF unit and Borla stainless steel cat-back exhaust system. A Granatelli performance suspension system makes the most of the 19" wheels and Z-rated tires. 13" Baer Racing brakes give both birds compelling stopping power.

Delphi's Monsoon audio system is a standard feature in all Trans Ams and pumps out 500 watts through 10 speakers (8 in the convertibles). Monsoon is sure to whet your appetite for increased musical exploration.

All the modifications are available through selected aftermarket manufacturers. Any variations of the themes can be had or customers can go ahead order the full-plumage as described above.

The Bird of Prey coupe and speedster give boredom a one-way ticket out of town.
